Every now and again life throws me opportunities to learn and grow. Sometimes through very painful experiences mentally, emotionally, and or physically.

This past Friday was one of those days. This past Friday something happened. My right erector spinae locked up and my back went in to extreme pain, then I went in to shock from the pain. All i did was stand up from a sitting position with a client.

I stretch every day, kinda foam roll, work on core stability + strength, but sometimes things happen. Between some stressful events & a car accident a couple weeks prior my back said nope, stop moving lol.

Mri in about 1 more week, xrays look ok-ish. No matter what Im still gonna suit up and show up, and dont some serious p.t. exercises.

Dont let life stop you. I will grow from my learning opportunities. 💪🙌

Ps thank you to all my clients that will be grabbing dumbbells by themselves for a few weeks. I can't lift or bend down for a lil bit.

People sometimes laugh when I mention I have a coach, or ask why.

Because im human. I need accountability, help with goal setting and someone I can talk to when Im feeling a bit discouraged. Someome that can walk the path with me. I love doing this with my clients but dont do it with me so well lol.

One goal is to get to 250 then start prep for classic physique 2019. Thanks for walking this road with me coach @mrcshadows

Ps this is exciting af for me. Never been over 240.

WORK WITH A COACH!!! Find someone, you dont have to do it alone.

Slowly holding around 240lbs. Still have another 10 to gain before in season prep begins.....i think lol.

Food - balanced during the week. LOTS OF Lean meats, carbs from fruit / veggies / yams / rice. Weekend = tiny bit of wiggle room to play around.

Workouts - heavy with some drop sets and super sets but mostly just heavy and 8-10 reps.

Breathing techniques / meditation daily to prep, shift/reset, and sustain my day.

2nd leg day this week

I didn't sleep well

Im tired from training 6 clients sat morning

My hips are tight

Did i mention its my 2nd leg day

Some days i am really just not feeling it. Ive already ran through a checklist of why I shouldnt do this. But my WHY is STRONGER than my why not. I want to be the best more than I want to rest. If i do something i get better. If i do nothing I stay the same or worse i go backwards.

Lets go forward and kick this days ass.
