I finally decided to try to do something after gaining 80 pounds in just three years. I had constant knee pain, was unhealthy and unhappy. I really had no intention of actually getting a personal trainer on January 24, 2016. Luckily, it turned out to be the best decision I could have made and after just 10 minutes talking to him, Tommy was my trainer. After 15 weeks I lost 47 pounds but it’s not just about the weight loss. I’ve changed the way I look at food, exercise, nutrition and he monitors what I eat so he’s taught me how to hold myself accountable. I’ve never been so aware of what I was eating as I am now. He is always there to answer my questions, listen when I’m stressing over one pound or just to keep me in check. Tommy is passionate about what he does and truly cares about every person he trains. He’s not just about exercise and weight loss – he’s about life changes. From nutrition to weight training, he created a program just for me. He’s tough and he challenges me in the gym but not beyond what I’m capable of and “I can’t” doesn’t really work with him. Working out isn’t easy but he makes it fun and new and he motivates me to do better and work harder. Right now, at 18-1/2 weeks and 51 pounds down, I have no more knee pain, more energy than I know what to do with and a whole new attitude. I’m a work-in-progress and have a long way to go (my personal goal is 100) but there is not a doubt in my mind that I will reach my goal training with him. I worked with a personal trainer once before, but he didn’t come close to being the trainer Tommy is. I could not have come this far without him and I wouldn’t and don’t hesitate to tell anyone who wants to get more fit, healthier and change their life to talk to him. If you are willing to commit and follow his plan, failure is not an option. – Kathy M
